Social media strategy for Tragus Group (UK's leading restaurant group with more than 300 units and four main brands: Café Rouge, Strada, Bella Italia and Belgo)

 

Back in 2011, when social media was not commonly used by companies as a marketing tool,

I designed a social media strategy that complemented each of the group’s brand strategies.

 

Opening conversations on social media gave us the chance to grow the database (that was used for email re-marketing afterwards). This increased brand awareness and engagement, helped us during product development, and presented an additional customer services channel.

 

The implementation of a social media strategy for the group brought together the creation of a social media policy, crisis handling procedure, and lots of training for restaurant managers and other staff members.
